The several books of this series could be combined into, maybe, one good book. The Order of a Dragon books read like children books. Things are repeated ad nauseam. I just read one of his older books, Soul Mates (Dark Earth), and it zings right along. Halstead reminds me of John Ringo's books when he writes like he did in the Dark Earth books. There is suppose to be another one of the "Dragon" "books", don't think I will waste my money on it.
Fast paced adventure. Mysticism blends with warrior codes and friendships forged through battle. Danger stalks the land. Loyalties are tested and victory is fleeting. One problem is solved and more take its place.
